New York bed and breakfast stays for a bite of the Big Apple

New York City

New York bed and breakfast businesses occupy a privileged status in the US as they are situated in a state which can be described as the very heart of the country. New York is the US’s third most populous state, bordered by several other populous states, namely Vermont, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. It is opposite Rhode Island and has an international border with Canada (Quebec and Ontario provinces). The five largest cities of New York State are New York City (which is the largest city in the US), Buffalo, Yonkers, Rochester and Syracuse. Marvelous New York City is the nerve center of the nation jam and it is packed with B&B lodges and inns. New York City is a leader in manufacturing, foreign trade, commerce and banking, book and magazine publishing, and theatrical production. It is an important seaport and its John F. Kennedy International Airport is one of the busiest airports on the planet. The New York Stock Exchange is the largest in the world. The printing and publishing industry is the city's largest manufacturing employer, with the apparel industry second. The convention and tourist businesses are important sources of income and the New York bed and breakfast industry forms an important part of this.

From the beautiful mountains, cities and lakes to pastoral farmlands and vineyards (yes, New York is a leading wine producer) the Empire State has it all! Did you know that the thunderous and spectacular Niagara Falls and the rugged mountains of the Adirondacks are in New York? There are many bed and breakfasts in the vicinity of these attractions. Then there are the enchanting Catskills, the lakes, the Hudson River and Fire Island. Major locations of interest that are visited by many New York bed and breakfast visitors are Castle Clinton, Fort Stanwix and of course the Statue of Liberty National Monuments.

There is plenty more! New York B&B visitors are keen on visiting U.S. Military Academy at West Point and National Historic Sites including the homes of Franklin D. Roosevelt atHyde Park and Theodore Roosevelt in Oyster Bay and New York City. Some New York B&B lodge and visitors go to the Women's Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls and National Memorials such as Grant's Tomb and Federal Hall in New York City. Sports fans who are perhaps staying in a NY bed and breakfast for a sporting event might visit the Baseball Hall of Fame inCooperstown.  Practically all New York bed and breakfast visitors get to see the United Nations and skyscrapers. These are famous NY sights. Bed and breakfast tourists also make the effort to see New York’s museums and theaters. They shop on Fifth Avenue near to which are many exclusive lodges and inns. They go to experience the excitement of Times Square and see the city from atop the Empire State Building. A road trip through New York state from New York city will offer everything from vineyards to antique shops and there are outdoor activities such as canoeing, skiing, golfing, fishing, dining and wine trails. Experience New York bed and breakfast hospitality in “rural” New York!
